Johnny Earl McCool died Friday, October 13, 2017.Born in Lexington, MS, he was the son of the late Robert Earl McCool and Martha Ann Graham McCool.He was the owner and operator of McCool Logging Company.Johnny was a race car driver and a race car fan. He loved the outdoors and had a love for fishing.Johnny was a devoted family man with a dedication to his grandchildren.He was a member of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his wife, Judy Nance McCool; 2 daughters, Amanda McCool and Lindsey McCool and a son, Johnny "Bub" McCool. He leaves 5 grandchildren, Kennedy Monsour, Zane Monsour, Johnny "B2" McCool, Benjamin McCool and Taylor McCool. He is also survived by 3 sisters and 2 brothers.

Visitation will be Monday, October 16, 2017, from 2 to 4 pm at Riles Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Blair E. Batson Childrens Hospital, 2500 North State Street, Jackson, MS 29205.
