Joseph C. "Joe" Wedgeworth, Jr. passed away on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at his home in Nowata,  Oklahoma.  He was 60.  Joe was born in Vicksburg, MS  and was the son of the late Blanche Sutton and Joseph Clark Wedgeworth, Sr.  He was a graduate of Warren Central High School, "Class of 1976"  and was an employee of U.S. Corps of Engineers, Vicksburg District in maintenance and also the Corps of Engineers, Tulsa, OK District.   Joe  retired after 30 years of service.  Joe was a member of the Sons of Confederacy.  He was preceded in death by his parents; and  his wife, Bonnie  Wedgeworth.  Survivors include his sisters, Nora Allen (Richard) of Hope, AR  and Peggy Smith of Nowata, OK; and several nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, November 8 at Frank J. Fisher Funeral Home with Richard Allen officiating.  Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be on Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. and on Friday from Noon until the hour of service.
