Juanita Brown Boggan passed away Saturday, November 24th 2018. She was 91. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.
She was born in Senatobia, MS and lived in Vicksburg, MS for most of her life. She was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church and former member of Bowmar Baptist Church. She retired from Merchants National Bank.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Mary Brown; Nell Smith (sister) and Eugene Brown (brother).
She is survived by her husband of 72 years, Brooks Boggan; one daughter, Kathy Friar; one son, Eddie Boggan (Cathy); two brothers, James Brown of Hurley, Ms and Howard Brown (Sally) of Hernando, MS; five grandchildren, Melissa Haas (Sam), Melanie Dixon (Stewart), Michael Allen, Chris Boggan (Christy) and Ashley Boggan (Maryann); 15 great grandchildren, Becca Boggan, Tre Haas, Kathy Allen, Tyler Haas (Brooke) Travis Haas, Matthew Boggan (Rachel), Montrell Allen, Kenneth Nuguid, Sean Dixon, Brynn Marie Boggan, Jace McCready, Mirannda Dixon, William Boggan, Elizabeth Boggan, and Ashlie Boggan; six great great grandchildren, Jakob Morton, Sa'marria Ellis, Magnolia Haas, Kherington Haas, Laura Grace, and Connor Boggan; 11 nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 27th, 2018 and one hour before services at Frank J. Fisher Funeral Home. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 28th, 2018 at Frank J. Fisher Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Kent Campbell officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Tre Haas, Tyler Haas, Travis Haas, Matthew Boggan, Montrell Allen, and Sean Dixon.
Honorary Pallbearers: Chris Boggan, Michael Allen, Ashley Boggan, Sam Haas, Stewart Dixon, Kenneth Nuguid, William "Little Eddie" Boggan, and Stanley Porter.
