Katherine J. Farrer passed away on Sunday, September 8, 2019.  She was 87.  She was the daughter of E.G. Childs and Margaret Childs.  Katherine was a retired employee of the Vicksburg Clinic for many years and attended the Church of God.  Katherine was preceded in death by her parents;  her husband, Robert Farrer and one brother.  Survivors include one son, Chris Farrer; two grandsons, Robert Cade Farrer and Giles Coalter Farrer; one sister, Laverne Kirk.  Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 13 at Frank J. Fisher Funeral Home with the Rev. Doris Leist officiating.  Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Friday from Noon until the hour of service at the funeral home.
