Obituary

Kenneth Clark Breland passed away at his home Wednesday, September 1, 2021. He was 91.

Kenneth was born in Philadelphia, Mississippi, on June 14, 1930 to Roger Clark Breland and Annie Zue Collins. He graduated from House High School and then in 1950, he married the love of his life, Evelyn Culberson. They moved to Indiana, where he went to work at The Chrysler Corporation. Later he moved his family back to Greenville, Mississippi, where he had the opportunity to work for Tohill Shipbuilders. He went to work for R.G. LeTourneau in 1956 until his retirement in 1992 with over 30 years of service. He was a devoted husband for 64 years. He will be remembered by his family as a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great grandfather.

Kenneth loved his church, Lighthouse Baptist, where he was a member of the Mike Sharp Sunday School Class. He enjoyed his garden and fruit trees. Although he played many musical instruments, he loved the guit ar.

He is survived by two daughters, Kathy Myers Courteau (Mike), Debra Grayson (Joe), and a son­ in-law, George McMillin (Beverly) Six grandchildren, Andrea McMillin (Easterling), Kenny

McMillin, Lori Williams (David), Carrie Callender (Jimmy), Gabe Crutchfield (Renee), and Todd Myers (Tish).

He had 11 great -grandchildren. Kenny McMillin, Jr, Morgan Callender (Dillon), Skylar

Williams (Chelsea), Natalie McMillin, Chelsea M yers, Anna Callender, Jon Cade Easterling, Bree Easterling, Phillip Crutchfield, John Russell Myers, and Noah McMillin .

Kenneth had one Great -Great Grandchild: Russell Callen Parker. Numerous nieces and nephews  and cousins.

One sister, Irene Wade of Victoria , Texas, three sisters-in-law Madine Wilkerson of Jackson, Audine Ware of Pensacola, Florida, and Retta Culberson.

In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Beverly McMillin, His son-in-law, Stanley Myers, His stepfather that raised him, Elisha L. Sharp, two

sisters, Katie Hicks of Philadelphia, Ms. and Kathleen Crain of Texas. And one sister-in-law Liz Culberson.

Graveside services will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at 10:00 am with Pastors E. L. Sharp and David Kassos officiating. Pallbearers will be grandson's and great­ grandsons.  Honorary Pallbearers will be David Williams, Kenny McMillin, Jr., and his caregivers, Linda Owens, Rick Grayson, Aaron M oat es, and Kenny McMillin, Jr.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask that any memorials be made to: Lighthouse Baptist Church, 1804 Sky Farm Avenue, Vicksburg, M s. 39183 . A charity of your choice .

"Our Sweet Bexlee-Kaye Nash" . Bexlee is the daughter of Joey and Britt any Nash, 165 Windham Drive, Vicksburg, Ms. 39183 . She is a four-year-old little girl that has been fighting cancer for two years and still has many miles to go. Any donations will be used for travel and medical expenses.
