In Loving Memory of Lee Ray Martin

November 19 th , 1974  – May 29 th  2023

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the untimely passing of Lee Ray
Martin, a cherished daughter and a dedicated mother who left this world too soon. Her children
were her pride and joy. She left an indelible impact on the lives she touched, spreading love and
warmth, wherever she went.  May her soul find eternal peace and may her memory forever be
a blessing to us all.

Lee was preceded in death by her grandparents: Eddie and Kitty Ray and Albert and Catherine
Shingler; a sister, Tammy Marie Nixon, and her daughter, Katie Nicole Martin.
She is survived by her husband, Heath Pickering; her parents, Larry and Michelle Ray and
Tommy and Barbara Nixon; four brothers: Justin Vinzant (Helen), Ryan Ray (Savannah),
Lawrence Ray, and Tommy Nixon, Jr.; three sisters: Jennifer Cain (Jamie), Rachel Vinzant, and
Katie Ray; her children: Kara Martin Wilson (Joseph), Hunter Martin, Kristen Martin, and
Bentley Pickering; and her grandchildren, Aiden Wilson and Ansley Wilson. Services will be
private. In lieu of flowers, plant a tree or make a contribution to a charity of your choice.
