Knight Fuller
April 24, 1949 – April 22, 2024
Leta Jean Fuller, 74, passed away April 22 , 2024 in Jackson, MS at the University Medical Center.
She was the daughter of John R. Knight and Sarah Knight. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Brenda
Fay Sauls.
Leta led a very full life traveling with her husband of 47 years, Dennis Fuller. She enjoyed riding motorcycles, taking care of her horses and nurturing her beautiful flower gardens. She also loved spending time learning about her Cherokee heritage. Before she worked by Dennis' side pipe fitting with him for 20+ years, she was an accomplished union welder. She retired from Plumbers and Pipefitters Local UA Number 619.
She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband and best friend, Dennis Fuller. Sons, Jay Maddox (Kim) and Jason Maddox (Amber). Daughters, Jessica Berry and Shanna Minor (Doug) Grandchildren, Victoria Fortenberry (Matt), Taylor Maddox, Ashlee Burchfield (Brody), Noah Yamas, Cheyenne Brunson, Montana Berry, Dalton Maddox, Ava Yamas, Dallas Berry and one great grand-daughter, Anna Leigh Fortenberry Brothers, Mac Knight (Judy), Roger Knight, Johnny Knight and James Knight (Mickie) Sisters, Paula Knight and Linda Gay Frix.
The family would like to thank the staff on 3 South at University Medical Center for their kindness and care for Leta. She will be missed by all those who knew her and love her.
Visitation will be held April 25, 2024 from noon until 2:00pm at Fisher Riles Funeral Home 5000 Indiana Ave. Vicksburg, MS 39180.The service will begin at 2:00pm with a graveside service to be held at Bethesda Cemetery in Edwards following the service.
Pallbearers will be Brody Burchfield, Matt Fortenberry, Michael Edwards, Howard Wright, Calvin Ashley, Danny Lynn, Peyton Edwards, Ty Wilson, Fred Vance.
