Lillian Sikes Garner, 95, passed away on Friday, April 3, 2026 at Claiborne County Senior Center.  Lillian was born on December 27, 1930 in Paragould, AR to Elzie Sikes and Jewel Sikes Dial.

She married  Dale Garner on July 19, 1949 in Paragould, AR.  They moved to Vicksburg in 1970.

Lillian is survived by her son, Kevin Garner (Pam); granddaughters, Sarah Avery (Jon), and Samantha Trotter (William) and great-grandchildren, Will Avery, Savannah Belden, Felicity Avery and Brodie Smith;  and brother, Tommie Sikes.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dale Garner; son, Dennis Garner (Denise); a sister, Opal Clifford and brother, Stanley Sikes.

Lillian was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Vicksburg.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, April 8 at 2 p.m. at Yokena Cemetery with the Rev. Billy Brumfield officiating.  All friends and family are invited to attend. Fisher-Riles Funeral Home is in charge of  arrangements.
