Linda Davenport Coley was born September 27, 1947 in Meridian, MS. She passed away in Vicksburg, MS on September 23, 2025.

She was preceded in death by her father Howard C. Davenport, her mother Martha H. Davenport, two sisters Cathy C. Brown (James D. Brown Sr) and Evelyn C. Ballard (John O. Ballard), two brothers Billy R. Davenport and Howard L. Davenport (Loraine Davenport), and her husband Robert E. Coley.

She is survived by a host of nephews and nieces. She also leaves behind a church family at First Pentecostal Church of Vicksburg that she loved dearly. Linda attended Port Gibson High School. While she did not have any children of her own, she loved her Boston Terrier fur babies (Little Chief, Katie Baby, and Maggie) with all her heart.

A memorial service will be held on Oct. 4, 2025 at First Pentecostal church of Vicksburg (6541 Paxton Rd. Vicksburg, MS). There will be a visitation beginning at 5pm with the service beginning at 6pm.
