Mabel June Boswell passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, January 13, 2019 in Vicksburg, MS. She was 83. June was born on July 6, 1935 in Carbondale, IL to J.Denard and Mabel (Mifflin) Stephenson. She is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, George Stephenson and Ed Stephenson; one sister, MaryJo Weber. She is survived by one sister, Leatha Apkin of Highland, IL; four sons, Billy Boswell (Mary), Lacombe, LA. Paul Boswell, Ventura, CA; John Boswell and Andrew Boswell, both of Vicksburg, MS;
one daughter, Trish Lloyd, Carpenter, MS; ten grandchildren; six great-grand children and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be Saturday, January 19, 2019 from 12:00 to 1:00 pm at Frank J. Fisher Funeral Home. Service will be at 1 pm with the Rev. Dr. Matt Buckles officiating. Interment will be held at a later date. Known by many, she was a member of First Baptist Church of Vicksburg, a long time employee of County Market Store and an avid Saints fan. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Vicksburg-Warren Humane Society or St.Judes Children's Hospital.
