Margaret Farrar Pearce died Saturday, May 23, 2020 in Brandon, MS.  She was 87. Born in Vicksburg, she was the daughter of the late Murray and Frances Farrar.  She was a graduate of J.H. Culkin Academy and the Hinds Jr. College School of Nursing.  She was a retired registered nurse.  She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.  She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Pearce, Sr.; two daughters, Mary Frances Pearce and Mary Margaret Jackson; and her sister, Laura G. Farrar.

She is survived by her daughters, Stephanie Slusasz of Brandon, MS and Laura Pearce Tuttle of Vicksburg; her son, Donald "Dewey" Pearce, Jr. (Christie) of Vicksburg;  two brothers, Stephen Farrar of New Hampshire and Joseph Farrar (Carol) of Vicksburg; eleven grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 1 PM Monday, June 22, 2020 at Fisher-Riles Funeral Home, 1830 Cherry Street.  A private family burial was held.
