Obituary

Marjorie L. Martin passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2020 after a brief illness.  She was 78.  The daughter of James H. and Ola Sullivan,  Marjorie was born in Skene, MS and moved to Vicksburg as a child.  Marjorie is a graduate of Culkin Academy and Hinds Community College.  She retired from Trustmark National Bank and later worked at Vicksburg Catholic School.  Marjorie was a communicant of St. Paul Catholic Church where she sang in the choir. She was preceded in death by her brother, Charles E. Livingston, Jr.; and her precious granddaughter, Leslie Paige Adams.

Marjorie is survived by her sister, Geraldine L. McPhail; her son, Robert Joe Adams (Karen); her daughter, Marcia Weaver (Frank); her grandson, Sean Michael Weaver (Marlee); her granddaughter, Deanna Victoria Adams; and niece, Donna Papa.

Visitation will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, October 7 at Fisher-Riles Funeral Home Chapel, 5000 Indiana Avenue followed by a graveside service at Cedar Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Robert Dore officiating.  Pallbearers will be Sean Weaver, Jason Mooney, Dwight Baker, James Halford, Pete Montalbano and Jimbo Halford.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Vicksburg Catholic School or St. Paul Catholic Church.  Marjorie's family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Merit Health River Region for their expertise and compassionate care.
