Ellean Lowery died peacefully in her sleep on Thursday July 8, 2021 at Vicksburg Convalacent Home. Born on June 22, 1948 to W.H. and Fannie White, Mrs. Lowery lived her entire life in Vicksburg, MS. Mrs. Lowery spent the majority of her adult life as a homemaker and enjoyed crafting, woodworking, and playing cards and dominoes.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 47 years, Mr. Herbert Lowery, sisters Irene White Jones and Agnes White Thompson, brothers John White, Bobby White, and Billy Ray White.

She is survived by daughter Jenna Lowery VanNorman and son-in-law John VanNorman, granddaughters Charli and Avery VanNorman, sisters Lois White Muirhead (Henry), Alice Faye White Willis, and Carolyn White Hearn (Pete), brother Robert Lee White Sr., and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will take place Tuesday July 13, 2021 at Riles Funeral home in Vicksburg. Visitation will be held from 9-11am followed by a graveside service at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers are John VanNorman, Neal Hearn, Ken Graham, and Dusty Keyes. Honorary pallbearers are the staff of Vicksburg Convalacent Home, Charlie Belden, Dr. Paul Pierce III, Baleigh Ford, Dr. Paul Pierce IV and DJ Silvio.
