Mary Lou Bennett Muirhead died Thursday, October 8, 2020.  She was 84.  Born in Leflore County, she had been a resident of Vicksburg for the past 58 years.  She was member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Thomas Hendon and Ottie Bell Hendon; her husband, Joe Bennett; a daughter, Darlene Winningham; and a grandson, Charles Miles, Jr.

She is survived by her daughter, Mary Winn (Terry); three grandchildren, Stacy Browning, Bobby Joe Brown, and Ricky Miles (Kelly); eight great-grandchildren; and numerous brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews.

Services will be at 2 PM Monday, October 12, 2020 at Fisher-Riles Funeral Home, 5000 Indiana Avenue in Vicksburg, MS.  Visitation will be from noon until the hour of service.  Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Rufus Hendon, Bobby Joe Brown, Ricky Miles, Lexi Whitehead, Melissa Methvin, and Corbyn Brown.
