Mary Theresa Podesta Ford was born on June 24, 1932 and died July 19, 2020. She is preceded in death by her mother, Marie J. Tuminello Podesta Smith and father, Julius J. Podesta and step-father, Emmitt T. Smith. She was born and raised in Vicksburg, MS, but life took her and Alfred to Dallas, TX, Orlando, Fla and New Orleans, LA. They were thrilled to return to Vicksburg in 1969. She was a 1950 graduate of St. Francis Xavier Academy where she made friends for life. She loved to play golf and was a member of Vicksburg CC for many years. She enjoyed cooking for her family and friends and it was her joy to have a house full of people. She was a wonderful and charming hostess.

Theresa is survived by her husband of 68 years, Alfred W. Ford, her sister, Rose M. Teer (John) and step-brother, Taylor Smith (Victoria). Two loving daughters, Julie Ford Robichaux (Louis), Melanie Ford Smith (James). Three Grandsons, Mark Flynt Cloer, Jr. (Kirby), Joseph Blake Smith and James Bradley Smith (Ally). Five Great Grandchildren, Syndi Cloer, Hayes Cloer, Kylee Cloer, Skylar Cloer and Cameron Cloer. And a Great Great Grandson, Paxton Means.

Mama, you will be loved and missed all our lives. Rest in Peace, Dear One.
