Mr. Michael E. Baroudy departed this earthly realm on Monday, August 30, 2021.  Michael was born March 22, 1932 in Vicksburg, MS to Father Michael Baroudy and Adeaby Khalo Baroudy.  Michael was one of seven children and is proceeded in death by his siblings;  Alice Roberts, Matilda Underwood, Katie Baroudy, Marie Dooling, Jeanette Brasfield and Elaine Dunn.  Michael lived his entire life in and around Vicksburg. After graduation from high school, Michael was drafted into the Mississippi National Guard.  Following his Honorable Discharge, he attended Hinds Community College graduating in 1955.  Michael worked in Houston, Tx for European Import Company until he followed his passion for radio and began a 26 year career as an Announcer and Salesman.  After his retirement from radio, many people will remember Michael as a Greeter at the local Walmart in Vicksburg.  As a member of both St. George Orthodox Church and Highland Baptist Church, Michael was a faithful servant of the Lord, always offering prayers and encouragement to those in need.  Michael leaves to mourn his loving wife Sherrill Birdsong Baroudy, his affectionate soulmate, and daughter Regina Caubarreaux (Jeffrey) to cherish his memory.

Pallbearers will be Michael Tullos, Austin Caubarreaux, John Brasfield, David Brasfield, Bob Brasfield and Ben Brasfield.

Funeral Arrangements are Saturday, September 4 at  Fisher-Riles Funeral Home, 5000 Indiana Avenue. Visitation is from 1:00 – 2:00 pm, funeral  service at 2:00 pm and burial service thereafter at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
