Patrick Lane Hopkins passed from this life at home on March 10, 2020 in Vicksburg, MS.  He was 49 years old.  Lane was born in Titusville, FL and had been a resident of Vicksburg since childhood.  A graduate of Warren Central High School, he was a veteran of the U.S. Army National Guard and a talented carpenter.  Lane was known as a wise cracker and enjoyed making others smile, and laugh.  He had a generous spirit and preferred to be outside, especially near on in water.  Lane was precede in death by his father, Guy Hopkins of Vicksburg, MS.  He is survived by his wife, Amy W. Hopkins, his mother, Earline Burdine of Pearl, MS, his daughter, Brianna Nations of Vicksburg, MS, step-son, Marcus Nations of Meridian, MS, step-daughter, Sarah Pilgrim (Travis) of Pasadena, TX and two granddaughters, Rayne Nations and Jessa Pilgrim.  Visitation will be from 1 PM to 2 PM Thursday, March 12, 2020 at Fisher-Riles Funeral Home, 5000 Indiana Avenue, with a time for remembrance.  A graveside service will follow at 2:30 PM at Cedar Hill Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Josh Hart, Travis Trussell, Miles White, Trey Ward, Oliver Hogan, and Mike Donovan.
