Patsy Simmons Meadows died Thursday, February 12, 2015, at the Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, MS.She was 67.Born in Vicksburg she was the daughter of the late Robert G. Simmons and Lottie Mae Emrick Simmons.Patsy was a graduate of Culkin Academy in the Class of 1965.She retired from the Mississippi State Department of Health in the Vital Records Bureau.Patsy was a member of the First Baptist Church in Pearl, MS.
She is survived by a daughter, Lori Meadows Miller (Tony) of Pearl, MS; a son, Robert Meadows, Jr. of Pearl, MS. and three grandsons, Jacob Daniels, John Daniels and Blake Wilkinson.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Meadows, Sr. and a sister, Betty Jean Barnes.
Services will be 11 AM Monday, February 16, 2015, at Riles Funeral Home with Scott Crawford, Pastor of the First Baptist Church of Pearl, MS officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery.Visitation will be at the funeral home from 9 AM until the service.
Pallbearers will be Artie Pulley, Charlie McAlexander, James Bailey, Jr., Chris Cothern, Charles Riles, Brad Helms, Jamie Meadows, Dale Parham and Jeremy McMinch.
Honorary Pallbearer will be Charles Barnes.
