Pauline Brown Jenkins passed away peacefully on Sunday January 5, 2025, at the age of 98. Mrs. Jenkins was born on January 16, 1926, to the late Rupert R and Lela Scott Brown of Red Lick, MS. She had been a member of St. Mary of the Pines Catholic Church.

Pauline was born in Redlick, MS, and moved to Vicksburg with her sisters Rosalie and Magdalene after high school. She worked at Waterways Experiment Station (ERDC) in photography during WWII where she met the love of her life, "Blondie". She also worked at Biedenharn Wholesale Candy Co. as a secretary. Pauline was an avid reader, loved being outside in nature, and was passionate about her previous dogs, cats, resident wildlife, feeding the birds, her resident turtles, and caring for her beautiful gardens. She was a lifelong resident of Vicksburg, MS, but recently resided in Deland, Florida.

Preceding her in death was her beloved husband of 52 years, Earl Burnell Jenkins, lovingly known as "Blondie".  Also preceding her were 5 brothers. Alric Vincent Brown, Rupert Anthony Brown, who died at the age of 5, Alphonse Ray Brown, "Jimmy" S. Brown, and Douglas Brown, who was killed in Vietnam; and 4 sisters, Christine B. Walters, Rosalie Brown Baldwin, Flora Ann Frazier, and Frances Smith.

She is survived by one brother, Ezekiel "Zeke" Brown of Dallas, GA; one sister, Magdalene Barousse of Kenner, LA; and too many beloved nieces and nephews to list!

A graveside service will be held at 2:30PM on Monday, January 13, 2025, at Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery in Vicksburg, MS.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Warren County Humane Society.
