In loving memory of Phillip Vanderford, who passed away on September 8, 2024. Phillip was only 26 years of age.

He is survived by his loving mother, Glenda Pecanty, and spouse, Joe Pecanty; his two sons, Oliver Shoops and Elias Overstreet; his siblings, Austin Casey, Casey Staten, Kalee Casey, Samantha Gibson, Patience Gillis, and Desiree Waldrip. His grandmother, Deborah Wolfe, will deeply miss him.

Phillip was preceded in death by his grandfather, Albert Wolfe.

As a proud uncle, Phillip loved his many nieces and nephews dearly. He had a passion for the outdoors. His fondest memories were growing up in Redwood, MS, with his mother and stepfather, Bill Owens. He later found his love for the beach when he moved to the coast of Mississippi, which brought him immense joy. Phillip's free-spirited nature and heart of gold will be remembered by all who knew him. Phillip was a caring man whose life was cut far too short. His infectious laugh and bright smile will be deeply missed.

Rest in peace, Phillip Vanderford. Your memory will be cherished by many.

Services will be held at 3pm on Monday, September 16 at Fisher-Riles Funeral Home at 5000 Indiana Avenue in Vicksburg. Visitation will be from 1pm until the hour of service.
