Obituary

Raymond Darnell "Slick" Holeman  of Vicksburg passed away on Monday, August 2, 2021. Born on May 24, 1942,  he was the son of Frank and Sadie Holeman.  Slick was employed by LeToureau, Ingels Ship Builders, Just Right Carpet and Rolling Cleaning Services.  He proudly served in the National Guard.

He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Johnnie Daughtry,  Edward Holeman, Tommy Holeman,  Franklin Holeman, Oletha Holeman Stevens and Waymond Holeman.

He is survived by his sisters, Sadie Marie Sparkman (Bill), Irene Tingle (Lewis); and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, August 5 at Cedar Hill Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Joshua Rollins, Kim Abernathy, Calvin Holeman,  Robbie Cook,  Preston Campbell and Mark Stevens.

Special thanks to Shauna Rollins, Kristi Cunningham, Dr. Sam Pierce, Dr. Paul Pierce IV, Dr. David Halinski, Merit Regional ER Dept., and the staff of Promise Hospital.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Warren County Humane Society or  Vicksburg Animal Shelter.
