Robert (Danny) Smith passed away at his home on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at the age of 76.   He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Trudy Smith; his sister Hassie Kirschenbaum (Neil):  three sons:  Robert (Christy) and their five children and  three grandchildren;  Joe Smith;  Donnie Foreman (Peggy) and their four children and nine grandchildren.

In addition to parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers:  Lochlyn,  Ray, D.C., and Billy.

Services will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, February 25 at Wayside Baptist Church, 6151 Jeff Davis Road in Vicksburg.  Visitation will be from 1 PM until the hour of service.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Danny Gary Whitehead, Mark Goodin, Nathan Storey, Neil Kirschenbaum, Jeffrey Chambers, and Billy Comans.  Honorary pallbearers will be  Mitchell Storey and Norman Standifer.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials be made to the American Lung Association. Thank you to Enhabit Hospice and Dr. Sam Pierce and staff.
