Ruth Dianne Burleigh passed away peacefully on August 1, 2021.  She was an active, lifelong member of Highland Baptist Church.  She is survived by her husband, David Burleigh; two sons, Jason Burleigh and Chris Burleigh;  two sisters, Carolyn Keene and Donna Greer;  a brother, Buddy Greer;  five  grandchildren; Will Burleigh, Riley Burleigh, Lexi Stuart, Katy Burleigh, and Ryan Burleigh and one  great grandchild, Brantley Burleigh.  She is preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Greer; father, Joe Greer; and brothers, Kent Brock and Joseph Austin Greer.  Special thanks to the staff of Jackson Oncology Center and St. Joseph Hospice Center for the caring, compassionate services Dianne received from them.  Pallbearers will be Jason Burleigh, Chris Burleigh, Aaron Greer, Daniel Greer, Buddy Greer and  Sherman Stuart.  Visitation and services will be at Fisher- Riles Funeral Home, 5000 Indiana Avenue, Vicksburg, MS,  on Thursday, August 5, 2021 with Brother Brian Ivey of Highland Baptist Church officiating.  Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.  Services will begin at 1:00 p.m. with burial to follow at Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery, 191 Highway 80 in Vicksburg, MS.
