Sandra Thompson Grant passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2023 at Vicksburg Convalescent Home.  She was 67.  She was the daughter of the late

James Oliver Thompson and Mary Lois Smith Thompson.  Sandra was a retired employee of the Warren County Sheriff's Department.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Grant; her brother, James O. Thompson, II.

Survivors include her daughter, Cassidy Thompson Gurley; son, Benjamin Edward Grant (Elizabeth Duke); grandchildren, Reed Gurley, Tucker Gurley, Jaden, Hayes, Anna-Lea, Elana, Jaxon and Sawyer.

Services will be held at Fisher-Riles Funeral Home, 5000 Indiana Avenue, on Friday, July 7 at 11:30 a.m. with the Rev. Marvin Curtis officiating.   Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until the hour of service.  Graveside services will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
