Schuyler A. "Butch"  Sikes passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2024 Claiborne County  Senior Care Center.

A celebration of life will be held  at Fisher-Riles Funeral Home, 5000 Indiana Ave. in Vicksburg,  MS on  Saturday, August 3, 2024.  Visitation begins at 9am with service at 10am. Graveside  service will follow at Cain Ridge Cemetery in  Lorman MS.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Oterie Marie and Otis Melville Sikes and sisters, Marilyn Conway and Susan Sikes Smith.

Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Linda Ellis Sikes, his daughter, Linda Korinne Bello (Tom), his son,  Steven E. Sikes (Ruthie); his grandchildren, Jacqueline Bello Williams (Ryan), Taylor Sikes Frazier (Kyle), Laura Bello Evans (Morgan), Samantha Bello; his grandsons,  Landan Stewart (Gracie), Logan Stewart, Lawson Selby and his great-grandchildren Eli Frazier, Skyler Frazier, Amelia Evans, Brady Williams, Miles Evans, and his sister, Wanda Deaver (Kenny).

The family would like to thank Dr Sam Pierce and Medical Associates, the 4th floor nursing staff at Merit Health River Region, Enhabit Hospice and the Claiborne County Senior Care Center for their kindness and care.

Pallbearers will be Ryan Williams, Morgan Evans, Kyle Frazier, Landan Stewart, Logan Stewart and  Lawson Selby.  Honorary pallbearers will be Hank Drake, Burnie Brown and Gwin Taylor.

In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be sent to Cain Ridge Cemetery in Memory of Butch Sikes c/o Mac Walters 8772 Rodney Road, Lorman MS 39096.
