Obituary

Scott Sparks died Oct. 12, 2022 at the Vicksburg home of his mother, Sharon Sparks. He was 48.
Sparks was born in Saratoga, N.Y. and graduated from Pennsville (N.J.) High School in 1992. Later, he studied in the missions program at Asbury University in Kentucky. He was a resident of Vicksburg since 2019 and lived previously in New Orleans and Luna Pier, Mich.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jonathan Sparks, and is survived by his mother; sisters Sherry Castellanos (Andre), of Austin, Texas, and Laura Barrett (Danny), of Byram; nephews Alex Scott, of Vicksburg, and Quentin Barrett, of Byram; and niece Tori Scott, of Pennsville, N.J.
