Serena Anne Tompkins, formerly of Vicksburg, passed away on Friday, August 24, 2018 at University Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson after a brief illness. She was 72. Serena was the daughter of the late George Berry Tompkins, Sr and Louise Irene "Lourene" Nelson Tompkins. Serena is survived by her brother, George Berry Tompkins, Jr. and her sister, Cheri Irene Tompkins Loden; a niece, Brandi Michelle Loden Berry; and a great niece, Madisyn Ann Berry. Visitation will be held Friday, August 31, 2018 from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Frank J. Fisher Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Gibson Family Cemetery under the direction of Frank J. Fisher Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Robert Goss, Jay Ratliff, Troy Goss, Kyle Eaton, Shawn Eaton, David Spring and Mickey Eaton. Honorary pallbearer will be Leroy Williams.
