Sidney Clovis Fielder died Wednesday, September 1, 2021.  He was 89.  He was born in Vicksburg to the late Eustace and Irene Fielder on January 25, 1932.  He retired from Marathon-Letourneau in 1987.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, serving in Japan during the Korean War.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Richard Fielder.

He is survived by his wife, Earlene Fielder; a daughter, Donna Magee (Ricky); a son, Michael Fielder (Jena); six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 2 PM on Friday, September 3 at the Fielder Family Cemetery with Rev. Billy Brumfield officiating.  Pallbearers will be Michael Fielder, Caleb Fielder, Josh McBride, Jordan McBride, Ricky Hanks, and Ricky Magee.
