Stephen Douglas Dierker, 76, passed away at Forest Hill Nursing Center in Jackson, MS from natural causes on Wednesday, March 25, 2020.

Steve was born in Peoria, Illinois on May 9, 1943 to the late Robert and Faye Dierker. He is survived by his wife of 35 years Janice Rose Dierker; daughters, Stephanie D. Jierski (Mike) and Dee Dee Dierker Ward; grandchildren, Cory and Blake Jierski, Hunter Tharp, Tyler Keltz, and Hannah Ward.

Steve is a Christian of Baptist faith. He graduated from H. V. Cooper High School in Vicksburg, MS. He worked at Marathon Letourneau for many years. He then retired from Sutherlands Lumber Company. He enjoyed bowling, golfing, talking, had a great sense of humor, and loved anything Ole Miss.

The family would like to thank Forest Hill Nursing Center and HomeCare Hospice for their loving care. There are no services planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to HomeCare Hospice.
