Joanne Carley, a beloved wife, mother and grandmother, and longtime resident of Vicksburg, MS, passed away unexpectedly on July 7, 2021 at the age of 62, while sleeping peacefully in her home.

Joanne is survived by her husband, Greg Carley; her 2 dogs, Max and Tiny; her 3 daughters, Christine Blaylock, Jenifer Hughes, and Terri Jo Hughes; her 6 grandchildren, Destiny Hughes, Christopher Reddick, Aniston Hughes, McKenzie Blaylock, Emilyn Garcia, and Landen Hughes; her 1 great granddaughter, Gabriela Nevels; and her grand dog Harley, and her great grand dog Princess . Joanne is also survived by her mother, Earnestine Blaylock, and her 3 sisters Sherry Hearn(Darryl Hearn), Marylin Williamson (Clay Williamson), Elizabeth Bradshaw (Randy Bradshaw) and 3 brothers Lawrence Blaylock (Terry Blaylock), Michael Blaylock (Sandra Blaylock), and Gary Blaylock.

Joanne was born in Hollandale, Mississippi, on October 23, 1958 to her father, Lawrence Blaylock and her mother, Earnestine Blaylock.

Joanne was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved celebrating family holidays, especially Christmas (decorating), camping with her husband and all of the children (with 5 adults and 6 kids piled in a 200 square foot rv), Nascar racing, and cuddling with her dogs.

Her visitation will be at Riles Funeral Home, at 5000 Indiana Avenue, Vicksburg, MS, and is scheduled for Saturday, July 10, 2021, from 9 am to 11 am, and will be followed by a brief service and graveside burial.

Pallbearers will be Darryl Hearn, Gary Blaylock, Michael Blaylock, Christopher Reddick, Landen Hughes, Travis Foster, Kurt Williamson and Brett Williamson.

Honorary pallbearers will be Lawrence Blaylock, Ellis Campbell, Ralph Allison and Albert Hunt.
