Thomas Robert "Tommy" or "Chief" Wilson died Wednesday February 18 at the age of 76.  Tommy was born in Vicksburg to the late Cecil and Gertrude Wilson and was a 1968 graduate of St. Aloysius High School.  He served in the Mississippi Army National Guard (168th Engineers) and he retired from Grand Gulf Nuclear Power Station as a master electrician. He was of the Catholic Faith and attended Vicksburg Church of Christ.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Thomas Robert Wilson, Jr., two brothers, Bill Wilson and Jerry Wilson.

Tommy is survived by his wife of 55 years, Jeanette Wilson; his son, Robert Wilson (Chris Ann); two sisters, Penny Wilson of Cairo, GA and Kathy Slaughter (Tony) of Donalsonville, GA; a brother, Gary Wilson (Kelley) of Morristown, TN.

Services will be held at 2 PM on Friday, February 27 at Fisher-Riles Funeral Home, 5000 Indiana Avenue in Vicksburg.  Visitation will be from Noon until the hour of service.  Interment will follow in Greenlawn Gardens.  Pallbearers will be  David Richards, Paul Richards, Stan Woodson, Allen Hammack, Roy Wade, and Bucky Walls.
