Velma Gaskins Stevens died Monday, August 10, 2020.  She was 86.  Born in Lake City South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Mamie Gaskins.  She had been a resident of Vicksburg since 1967.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph William Stevens, Sr.  She is survived by her children:  Dianne S. Davis, Larry L. Stevens, Ralph W. Stevens, Jr., Anthony J. Stevens, Ricky W. Stevens, Velma Jean Stevens Powell, and Roger W. Stevens; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held 10:30 AM Thursday, August 13 2020 at Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery.
