Victoria "Vkee" Beluso Aranas passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 7, 2024 in accident driving home from Austin, Texas to Vicksburg, Mississippi. She was born on November 17, 1951 in the Philippines. She moved to the United States after graduating from nursing school and worked as a registered nurse in local hospitals in Vicksburg and Jackson for many years.

She is survived by her son Alfred Aranas of Bay St. Louis, Mississippi; daughter Sheena Bigger(Drew) and grandchildren Freddy and Kobe Bigger of Austin, Texas; brother Maxwell Beluso, sister Josephine Qualls of Clinton, Mississippi; and sister-in-laws Tess and Lucy Beluso.

Vkee was always surrounded by friends and family whether she attended a gathering or traveling. She had a way of lighting up any room she walked into with her contagious smile and witty personality. She had the most caring heart and helped out anyone who needed her. She spent her most recent days with Sheena and Drew in Austin to help raise her precious grandchildren. She loved the boys very much and a part of her will be with them forever.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 23 from 9:00am to 10:45am at Fisher-Riles Funeral Home, 5000 Indiana Avenue in Vicksburg followed by a funeral mass at St. Michael's Catholic Church at 11:00am. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Ralph Coleman, Feb Figueroa, Ilde Ibale, Roberto Lamanilao, Jerry Morris, and McLain Walker.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers to please make a donation to Vicksburg Catholic Schools in her honor.
