Vincent "Joe" Jeffers, Sr. passed away at his home on April 26, 2020 at the age of 78. He was born on May 12, 1941 in Kadoka, South Dakota and moved to the Redwood Community when he was 14. He was predeceased by his parents Lillian and William Jeffers.
He retired from the Mississippi Highway Patrol. He was a woodworker and worked in the Model Shop at Waterways Experiment Station. He was a member of the Vicksburg Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife Betty Brent Jeffers, daughter Lisa Jeffers Shaw, sons Joe (Dulcie) and Corey (Jessica). He is also survived by step children Matthew, Mark, Heather, Timothy and Rebecca Hughes. He has 19 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren .
Private graveside service will be held Wednesday April 29, 2020.
