William Burton  Ryan, Jr. passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at his home. Burt was the son of the late Polly Martin and William Burton Ryan, Sr.   Burt worked  for  the  Vicksburg Police Department and retired with ten years of service.  He was a member of the Elks Lodge BPOE 95 and a member of the Southern Cruisers Riding Club, Chapter 114.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife of 17 years, Becky Ryan of Vicksburg; son, Taylor Ryan (Julia); granddaughter, Nora Love Ryan;  sisters, Karen Robinson (Johnny) of Ruleville, MS, Jan Martin (Paul) of Madison; nieces, Leah and Laurel and nephew, Morgan; additional children, Kelly Christian, Kim Watson (Herman), Wayne Wasson (Shannon); grandchildren, Jordan Watson (Lacey), Garrett Watson (Morgan),  Analiese Bryan (Scott), Kimberlynn Christian, Dylan Wasson, Durand Christian, Jake Wasson and Walker Wasson.

Visitation will be held from 9 to 11 am on Monday, May 13 at Fisher-Riles Funeral Home, 5000 Indiana Ave.  with  services  to follow at 11 am.   Interment will follow at 1 :30 pm at Parkway Cemetery in Ridgeland, MS.

Pallbearers will be Joe Shows, Kirby Day, Herman Watson, Jim Dolan, David LaSalle and Durand Christian.

Honorary pallbearers will be Members of the Southern Cruisers Riding Club, Chapter 114, Paul Martin, Johnny Robinson, Larry Gunter and Roy Hall.
