Yvonne Scott  Allen of Alpharetta, GA  passed away on Thursday, February 28, 2019.  She was 80.   Mrs. Allen was born in Vicksburg, MS on May 28, 1938.  Her hobbies included making doll dresses for her Girlchildren and others; her biggest hobby was reading.  She graduated from Carr Central High School in Vicksburg. She went to Hinds Junior College where she earned a certificate in executive secretary studies.   Mrs. Allen was preceded in death by her father, Frank Scott and mother, Miriam Scott; two nephews they had raised, Don and Ron Dugan; in addition to her son, Sean Allen.  She is survived by her brother, ( Ken) and her husband, ( Ray) with whom she enjoyed 60 years of marriage.  She is also survived by two sons, Frank and Troy Allen and two granddaughters; four grandsons and two great grandchildren.    A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 14 at Frank J. Fisher Funeral Home.  Graveside services will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery immediately after the visitation.
