Luther Marion Bufkin died Friday, November 3, 2017 at his home in Vicksburg.He was 63.A native and lifelong resident of Vicksburg, Mr. Bufkin was a the son of the later Luther Marion Bufkin, Sr. and Mary Conway Bufkin.He was a graduate of Warren Central High School and retired from Great River Stone as a construction foreman.
In addition to his parent, Mr. Bufkin was preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine Rushing Bufkin and a sister, Ruth Cunningham.
He is survived by three daughters:Kimberly Dell (Bryan) and Michelle Wardlaw, both of Vicksburg, and Amanda Bufkin of Clinton, MS; a sister, Kimball Bufkin of Vicksburg; five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 9 AM to 11 AM Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at Riles Funeral Home.A graveside service will follow at 11AM at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Gerald Stanley Leach, Steven Cunningham, John Kirby Day, Zachary Friley, Davie Heldenbrand, Dylan Silverthorne, Robert Burnside, and Ron Bolden.Honorary pallbearers will be Joe Little, Jeff McBroom, Eddie Henry, and Chris Henry.
