Jason Wood
Retired as a police officer with the Vicksburg Police Department after 24 years of service, Jason continues to serve the people of Vicksburg as manager of Fisher-Riles Funeral Home. He is a licensed funeral director, embalmer, and crematory operator. Jason is a member of the Vicksburg Elks Lodge and the Vicksburg Lions Club, where he serves as a board member. His wife, Tammy, is a special education teacher with the Vicksburg-Warren School District. They have four children, Emily, Taylor, Madison, and John Michael, as well as three grandchildren. Jason and Tammy are members of Triumph Church. Jason welcomes the opportunity to assist you with your funeral needs or any questions you may have.

Mary Dee Halford
Mary Dee is a lifelong resident of Vicksburg and a graduate of St. Aloysius High School. She is the daughter of the late Robert and Doris Logue Hosemann. She serves as a licensed funeral director and Office Administrator for Fisher-Riles Funeral Home, and she holds an associate’s degree in Applied Science from Hinds Community College. As a lifelong member of St. Paul Catholic Church, she is active in various committees and ministries, including the St. Paul Choir, the Altar Society and serves as a cantor. Mary Dee is married to James “Jimmy” Halford. They have a daughter, Mary Margaret, who is married to Daniel Edney II; and a son, Jimbo Halford. She also has two granddaughters, Rosemary and Vivian Edney. Mary Dee is honored and humbled to serve the families of our community.

Tommy Miller
Tommy comes to Fisher Funeral Home with over 40 years of ministry as a United Methodist Pastor. He and his family have lived in Vicksburg for 35 years, where Tommy continues to serve our community. He graduated from Mississippi College with a degree in Church Music and from Perkins School of Theology. His long ministry with the community while at Hawkins United Methodist Church and the Good Shepherd Community Center gives him a unique perspective on the needs of our community and how to help and support people in their times of need.

Tommy comes to Fisher Funeral Home with over 40 years of ministry as a United Methodist Pastor. He and his family have lived in Vicksburg for 35 years, where Tommy continues to serve our community. He graduated from Mississippi College with a degree in Church Music and from Perkins School of Theology. His long ministry with the community while at Hawkins United Methodist Church and the Good Shepherd Community Center gives him a unique perspective on the needs of our community and how to help and support people in their times of need.

Samuel Teeples
Samuel is a native of Columbia, Tennessee, and he graduated from Columbia Christian Academy in 2001. He joined the United States Army in January of 2002 and deployed in 2003 in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. He would serve a total of 9 years including a six year stint in the Tennessee, Mississippi National Guard deploying once again in 2007 until 2008. Samuel has been married to Sarah Teeples for 13 years. They have one Chocolate Labrador Retriever named Henry. In their past time, especially during the months of November - January, you might see them somewhere in the Mississippi Delta. His goal is to serve the wonderful families in the communities within and around Vicksburg.

Glenn joined the staff of Riles Funeral Home immediately upon his retirement from Anderson-Tully in 2011 after spending 36 years as a lumber inspector. Glenn is a member of Wilderness Baptist Church and serves as the church pianist. In his spare time he enjoys horseback riding. Glenn is proud to serve in his role at Fisher-Riles Funeral Home.

Jack believes in servant hood which is why he still teaches after retirement. He considers himself very fortunate to be able to serve in his capacity at Frank J. Fisher Funeral Home.
